| To create the monochromatic effect, we applied the black paint sparingly for a soft effect on the first layer. On the second layer, we applied a few layers of black paint until it was solid. To create an accurate repeating pattern from a motif as we have done here, check out our Gridfinders - a very useful tool for marking out different size grids accurately and quickly (without measuring). |
