| To make dark colours show up on a dark background, stencil with metallic gold first then stencil your dark colours on top. You can either cover all the gold with other colours, or you can leave bits of gold showing as we have done here. The gold makes the dark colours sit up from the background and adds a rich undertone. You can also use white underneath dark colours, but gold is a warmer alternative. |
