This web site is owned and operated by The Stencil Library. References to 'we', 'our' and 'us' shall be deemed to be references to The Stencil Library and references to 'you' and 'your' shall be deemed to be references to the person placing the order via this website.

PLACING AN ORDER:
By placing an order with us, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the Terms & Conditions hereby laid out. Should you have any questions about these terms, please contact us prior to placing your order. By placing an order via this website, you are making an offer to The Stencil Library to purchase the goods described in your order upon the terms described in your order. Our stencils are designed and manufactured in-house. They are made to order. In many cases we can make custom sizes. The stencils are cut from 125 micron (5mil) polyester film as standard. We also have the facility to custom produce most designs on 250 micron (10mil) polyester film at additional cost. Please contact us if you require alternative sizes or thick film prior to ordering. For more information, please see Product Info. Prices include VAT @ 20% (excluding zero rated items such as books). Shipping is added at checkout where applicable. To see more information on shipping costs, please go to the Shipping Info section. The Stencil Library retains the right to change prices or discontinue products without notice. This does not apply to pending orders.

PAYMENT:
Payment is required at time of ordering via the web site and can be made via PayPal, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, or American Express cards. Payment will be debited from your account immediately by Paypal or Worldpay upon placing your order and you will receive confirmation from them that your payment has been received. A contract between you and The Stencil Library will only exist once your order has been accepted, processed and dispatched. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Orders can also be taken by telephone, fax or mail and payment can be made by credit/debit card, UK cheque, international money order in pounds sterling, or bank transfer. See the Contact us section should you wish to order by phone, fax or mail.

All prices in this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in your choice of Pounds Sterling (£), US Dollars ($) or Euros (€) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 20%. If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU), VAT can be deducted from your order if you elect and pay to have your order sent by courier. In order for us to deduct VAT, we have to have proof the goods have left the country and standard services are not sufficient. Please keep in mind that sometimes the courier service may be more expensive than the VAT. If you would like to explore this option, please contact us immediately upon placing your order. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them. A VAT receipt can be supplied upon request.

SPECIAL OFFERS:
From time to time, we may advertise special promotional offers and discounts. These will only be valid whilst advertised on our website and we retain the right to change or end these offers without further notice. Offers are subject to availability and are applicable on selected items only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount unless specified.

DELIVERY:
We endeavour to ship your order within 2 working days of receiving it. Custom or large orders may take longer. Standard shipping uses Royal Mail standard services. We ship worldwide and depending on your location, delivery can take anywhere from a couple of days up to a few weeks. Express and courier options are available by arrangement. For further details on delivery times, costs and express services, please see our shipping info section or contact us.

Please note: The delivery period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. We cannot be responsible for delays or non-delivery if your address is given incorrectly or incompletely (if the delivery address is a business, please include the business name). If you are ordering more than one item, your goods may be sent to you in more than one parcel, especially if goods are out of stock. If your delivery address is outside the UK, you may have to pay import duties and taxes which are levied once the shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note that customs policies vary from country to country and we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information. International shipments may be subject to cross border inspections by customs authorities. In all cases, we endeavour to have your goods delivered without undue delay within 30 days maximum (subject to postal services, and customs inspections on overseas orders).

LOST ITEMS:
Undelivered items are not classified as 'lost' by Royal Mail until after 15 working days for UK deliveries, 30 working days for international deliveries. Whilst we have outlined general delivery times for standard services in our shipping section, please note that these can vary, especially with international shipments which are subject to customs inspections. Should your order be classed as lost, we will replace the goods. Replacing the order before Royal Mail classifies it as 'lost' is at our discretion. Should the 'lost' item turn up and you have therefore received two items, please refuse to accept the second order and it will come back to us.

SUBSTITUTE GOODS:
This applies to products we do not manufacture in-house e.g. accessories.We aim to keep most accessories in stock at all times, but occasionally we may be out of stock of a particular item or our supplier will discontinue a product without notice. You will be advised by email if this is the case with your order. If the delay for having the item back in stock is more than a few days, we will advise you and if appropriate, offer an alternative which you are under no obligation to accept. If we are unable to offer an appropriate substitute, we will refund you the price of the item. If you accept the substitute, but find upon delivery it is not suitable for your needs, you may return the item and we will refund the price of the item as well as return shipping. The item must arrive back safely and in resellable condition.

COPYRIGHT:
All Stencil Library stencils are designed in-house and protected by international copyright. The copying and reproduction of any Stencil Library design or any part of this website is strictly prohibited. If you would like to purchase stencils to put on items you wish to sell, please contact us prior to purchase. If you wish to use or reproduce any photography shown on this website, please contact us prior to use.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL:
You may cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of dispatch. If you do cancel the contract within this time, any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 14 days.

RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY:
All orders are subject to distance selling regulations, The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which dictate that the consumer can cancel and return the goods up to 14 days after the goods have been delivered if they are not entirely satisfied with their order. We will happily comply with this, but please keep in mind when ordering, that all our stencils are made to order. We do not hold stock. By cutting each stencil to order, we are able to offer you a large, varied and unusual selection of stencils coupled with good customer service that stands us apart from our competition. We hope you will respect our compliance with selling regulations by not ordering more stencils than you intend to keep. We are happy to help you with your choice and will answer any questions about a design prior to your ordering it so please contact us if you are not sure about any stencil design, especially with regard to size. We do our best to make information about each design clear, but appreciate that you may want to know more. We can offer custom sizes in most cases to help you get exactly what you need.

That said, should you find that the item ordered is not suitable, you may inform us in writing that you wish to return the item for either an exchange or a full refund and return the item within 14 days of delivery of your item. The item must be returned in perfect resellable condition, promptly and at your cost. Please note: should we find evidence of use of the goods leading to diminished value, we reserve the right to reduce the amount of money refunded, the amount being at our discretion. A refund for perfectly resellable returned goods will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Had you paid any postage for outbound delivery, we will refund the shipping costs (but we will not refund the return delivery costs). If you had chosen to have the goods sent by more expensive means, only the cheapest standard delivery option will be refunded. When returning goods, we recommend that you obtain a proof of posting and as we cannot take responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit so relevant insurance should be taken to cover their value.

Exclusions to this returns policy include all customised or bespoke items including custom sized stencils or stencils from our 'In Your Own Words' range or original designs and logos.

Should we deem your stencil faulty, we will pay the return postage and issue either a refund or a replacement stencil as wished. Please also see 'Guarantee' section below.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

GUARANTEE:
All stencils must be used with due care and attention and our instructions provided with the product must be followed. If for any reason you should damage your stencil, regardless of how it happened, you may return it to The Stencil Library and we will pay the first 50% towards the cost of a replacement stencil (must be an identical stencil). This guarantee can only used with our own brand stencils, we cannot guarantee those from other manufacturers.

CONFORMITY OF GOODS
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and are only intended to give a general description of the products. If you are unsure of how the sizing works with a particular design, please contact us prior to ordering. With regards to paints, while colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

LAW & TERRITORY
These Terms & Conditions and your use of the website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. This does not affect your statutory rights.
