Included in this collection of Flower and Tree stencils is a range of some twenty Tudor flower designs. These date from around 1520 and are taken from designs in the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. Each design comes complete with with the appropriate name in the spelling and script of the period. There are Tree stencils which are adapted from designs to be found on the famous Lady and The Unicorn tapestries from medieval France. Also from this tapestry series we have included two sheets of small flower stencils in the style which the French call Mille Fleurs.
