THE STENCIL LIBRARY

The Arts and Crafts movement was an attempt to revive handicrafts and improve standards of decorative design in late Victorian England. The movement found fertile ground in the USA where it flourished until the outbreak of the first world war. Also included in this category are examples of stencils from the Gothic Revival, a late 19th Century movement with a love of all things medieval.
