Guarantee:
When used with reasonable care and by following the instructions provided, your stencil should last the duration of an average project. If for any reason you should damage your stencil during use, regardless of how it happened, return it to The Stencil Library and we will pay 50% towards the cost of a replacement stencil (must be the identical stencil). This guarantee can only be used with our own brand stencils. Statutory rights apply.
Returns:
All orders placed on this web site are subject to the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This legislation allows you to return goods bought online or by mail order for a full refund if they are returned within seven days from the date you receive the goods. The goods must be undamaged and in perfect resellable condition. You are responsible for the full cost of returning any goods including the cost of any insurance necessary to cover the full value of the goods should they be lost in transit. We recommend that you also always obtain proof of posting when returning goods to us.
All items that are made-to-order including custom sized stencils and stencils from our 'In Your Own Words' range are excluded from this returns policy
We are a small family business and, in order to offer you a huge range of designs, all our stencils are made to order. We do not hold stock of any design. Although you have the legal right to return any product we would ask you please not to order 10 stencils knowing that it's likely that you will return 9 of them. It is very unlikely that we would be able to resell the returned designs and so any costs we have incurred in their manufacture would eventually have to be passed on in the form of higher prices for all our customers. If you need detailed information about sizes or any other aspect of our products please ask us before placing your order. We're always happy to help.
