A collection of stencils based on images from the 17th and 18th Centuries. The style was known as Chinoiserie and was a European version of Chinese design.

Panel stencils include designs inspired by imported hand-painted wallpapers from the 17th Century. They mainly feature tall flowering trees populated by exotic birds. The Repeat Pattern stencils include several typical Chintz patterns and examples taken from pottery and fabrics of the period. The Tile stencils are, by contrast, a less detailed and more geometric collection. The Border stencils include examples featuring dragons, chrysanthemums & peonies as well as simpler lattice and railing designs.

Blue & White stencils are devoted to the popular pottery of the period, including the ever popular Willow Pattern design. Silhouette stencils are a simple system of overlay stencils which allow for a wealth of detail not obtainable by conventional stencilling. Calligraphy stencils are a small collection of attractive Chinese symbols expressing concepts such as Earth, Fire & Water. The Budget stencils in this category were adapted from motifs found on various wallpapers in the Royal Pavilion at Brighton.
