I was in the process of ordering 2 stencils when I noticed the thickness of the stencils themselves. I am a little concerned that they will break easily. I have done lots of stenciling in the past, but the stencils have been much thicker! What is the difference in cost for the thicker stencil and what experiences have other had with these stencils? Thanks!

Thank you for your enquiry. As standard, our stencils are cut on 125 micron polyester film which has a warp and a weft so is very sturdy. The standard thickness is appropriate for stencilling with paint. If our instructions are followed, your stencil will last an average size project, possibly even more. We can also cut on 250micron film. This film is appropriate for use with thick mediums such as plasters and texture pastes as it has a raised profile. If you would prefer 250 micron film there is a 20% surcharge.

I was wondering if each stencil comes with a colored picture to give an idea of how the stencil should be used for maximum beauty. I was also wondering if the shipping is the same for 2 stencils as it is for one?

Thank you for your enquiry. No, we do not provide colour illustrations with each stencil because the colour choice is so personal. You can use any colour; you can use a single colour; you can use multiple colours. If you are stuck, we can try and advise if you email us with your stencil choice (see contact us for email addresses). And yes, the standard shipping charges stay the same whether you order 1, 2 or 100 stencils.

Hello,
As it is stated in your web page, what is the price of a one stencil? I want to use them on an item which I designed.
Please inform me the copyright issue and the other details.
Thanks.

Are your stencils protected under copyright? Can I use them on items that I sell?
All our stencils are protected under copyright. If you are interested in purchasing stencils to use on items that you then sell, then you must contact us before ordering and talk to us about what you want to do.

Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, our stencils are under copyright and therefore if you want to use them on items that you sell, you do have to get our permission. We will need information about how you want to use the design, which design, what it is going onto, how many items you are looking to produce and where and how the item is being sold. We assess on a case by case basis. Please email us (email addresses are on our contact us page) with further information about your situation and we will be happy to get back to you with further information. We do appreciate you respecting our copyright policy and contacting us.
